Azumo

Azumo (アズモ, Azumo) was a shaman of the Tribe of Fire that served Nardia. He was a descendant of Azzard, a shaman from the time of the ancient kingdom of Kastuul who formed a covenant with the king spirits Ifrit and Jinn, back when their respective Fire and Wind tribes were one. Through the Grey Witch Karla, Azumo learned of his bloodline and the covenant he inherited. With Ifrit, Azumo could become king. With this ambition, he incited Nardia to challenge the kingdom of Flaim. With Ifrit the Fire tribe beat Kashue's forces repeatedly and drove them back to Flaim's capital Blade. To counter this, Deedlit obtain the services of the other king spirit, Jinn, by forming a new covenant with him, which replaced the covenant that Azzard had formed. With the establishment of a new covenant Azumo lost his control over Ifrit. He was later killed by Leylia.
