The Demon War (魔神戦争, majin sensō), commonly translated as Demon Wars,[1][2] (though there was only one war) sometimes translated as War Against Evil,[3] and also known as the War of the Demon King was one of the many wars fought on Lodoss island. The war began in NRC 473 when the Demon King and many demons were released from the confinement in the Deepest Labyrinth. All over Lodoss demons began attacking villages and cities, but the main concentration remained in the south of Moss and tried to expand from there.
The war is famous for bringing forth six legendary figures, after the war referred to as the Six Heroes.
