Synopsis[]
Nightshade takes Bart and his companions to Soburan's hideout—an underground temple—accessible via a secret passageway in an abandonded Thieves' Guild. Bart learns that Nightshade lost a friend to Malice Trigger. They eventually run into Hugh and Carnya and several Malice Trigger victims. During the battle, Nightshade uses one of the traps of the former Thieves' Guild to kill Carnya. Hugh uses teleport magic to teleport Nightshade away.
