The Road to Ordeal is the twelfth episode of the Louie the Rune Soldier manga and the second episode of the third tankōban in the Louie the Rune Soldier manga series.
Synopsis[]
Melissa accepts Louie's request for their help to stop the weather control device, because she believes this is the ordeal that Louie must face. When Louie overcomes the trial, everyone will recognize him as a hero, and she'll be the follower of a true hero. The party may encounter spirits that have gone berserk due to the weather control device.
Ila is worried that the journey might be too difficult, so she gives Louie and the three girls one of her prized items: her familiar Ale.
