Turn 12: Curse is the twelfth and final episode of the Sword World SFC Comic: Lacquer-black Curse manga.
Synopsis[]
Soburan suddenly decides to use his own body as a sacrifice to resurrect Mireef, and the evil god begins to manifest within him. With Mireef's powers, Soburan tries to kill the still unconscious Nightshade, but Mahdi saves her just in time. As the battle progresses, Mireef consumes blood from wounds inflicted on the adventurers and continues to grow and one of his attacks damages the temple's ceiling. Rizan and Nightshade attempt to destroy the altar with the three crystal orbs, believing it served as a gateway for Mireef. Soburan tries to stop them with one of his tentacles, but Cains dismembers it before it reaches Rizan and Nightshade. The altar is pushed over and gets damaged, which affects Soburan and Mireef. Bart rushes towards Soburan and pierces him with his sword and then decapitates him. The party rushes out of the temple before it crumbles, leaving behind Soburan's decapitated head with a content expression on his face.
Outside, everything seems to have returned to normal. Nightshade is gone, but she left Bart a note suggesting they'll meet each other again.
