Complications! is the sixteenth episode of the Louie the Rune Soldier manga and the sixth episode of the third tankōban in the Louie the Rune Soldier manga series.
Synopsis[]
Louie and Merrill inform Genie, Melissa and Muriel what happened. Louie asks them for help; Genie declines, but Melissa accepts. She tries to talk to Hansel to cancel the marriage, but he smooth talks his way out of it. Hansel is determined to get his daughter married to Louie.
Louie decides to visit his foster-father Carwess, but he has already heard what allegedly happened and isn't pleased. He says Louie might as well resign himself and give up all his activities. Louie hopes that doesn't mean giving up adventuring.
The party learns from Ila that Hansel has been in the illegal business as of late, to make up for a failed investment. Ila went to Hansel with this information and told him to cancel the engagement and in exchange she would keep this information to herself. Hansel accepted and cancelled the engagement. Muriel then confesses her love to Louie, but Louie says that, although he likes her, he needs to grow more and become a guy nobody can beat.
