Toward Annihilation is the second episode of the fourth Chronicles of the Heroic Knight manga volume and the nineteenth episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Garrack thinks Spark only thinks about himself, for going after Little Neese. Leaf disagrees, and thinks Spark does what he believes is best in the current circumstances.[1] Spark and Leaf both get new mithril armour from King Etoh.[2] Spark reminds Etoh of a very old friend of his.
Elsewhere in Roid, Ryna meets with an old acquaintance called Martha, who owns a ship that Ryna wants to use to avenge Randy.[3]
In Alania, near Alan, the Flaim forces led by King Kashue have defeated the Marmo reinforcements and are preparing to advance to Alan and overtake Duke Raster.[4] At night, Kashue and Slayn discuss Neese, of whom they have heard she went to Valis. Kashue believes Neese needs to be protected in case her inexperience leads to her being caught off guard.[5]
While Spark and the others are trying to find a ship and captain to get them to Marmo, without any success, they see Ryna again, on Martha's ship, and hop on board.[6]
