Stolen Light is the fifth episode of the fourth Chronicles of the Heroic Knight manga volume and the twenty-second episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Spark rushes towards Jiba, pretending to attack him, but instead rushes past him to find Little Neese. He leaves Jiba to Greevus and Ryna.[1] Elsewhere on the ship, Garrack is on the run from a big group of Marmo fighters.He rushes into a cabin where he finds Aldonova, who seals the door with magic. Later, he finds the Marmo ship captain stuck in window, and punches him KO to get him out.[2]
Spark finds Little Neese, with two Marmo men. He tells her Aldonova told him everything and asks what she hoped to accomplish on her own. Neese believes, since Wagnard is also human, she can reason with him. Spark tries to convince Neese she is not alone in all those, by comparing himself to her; he always wanted to become a knight and so became a prisoner of his own mind. Neese seems swayed by Spark's words and is about to accept Spark's offer, but then Wagnard himself appears.[3] Because of Spark's persuasion, Neese's strong faith lowered and Wagnard is finally able to take her. Spark attacks Wagnard and pierces him with his sword, but it has no effect. Wagnards vanishes with Neese.[4]
Spark and his party rush back to Martha's ship. Jiba summons Jinn, the king spirit of the wind, who begins attacking Martha's ship.[5]
In Dark Town, the capital of Marmo, a bolt of lightning struck the palace. Shordel believes Wagnard might be up to something and wants to do something about it. Spark has washed ashore somewhere and meets Parn.[6]
