To Marmo... is the sixth and final episode of the fifth Chronicles of the Heroic Knight manga volume and the twenty-ninth episode overall.
Synopsis[]
A tired Spark and Leaf fall asleep together, after the wounds of Garrack and the others have been tended to. When everyone is awake, Garrack tells of how they survived—they drifted the sea for five days until they found the Marmo ship and got on board as prisoners.[1] Spark wants to board the ship and go straight to Marmo. He meets with Wort, who says many heroes have changed the course of history. He believes Spark and King Kashue will be among them.[2] Near Roid, Ashram and his forces are planning an attack on Roid. They've heard, however, that their escape route, Rood, has been captured. Moreover, it has been eerily quiet in Roid, which leads Ashram to suspect the Sacred Warrior spell may have been used. He orders twice as many men for the battle, but also requests Pirotess to make sure they have a ship available to escape with. Ashram thinks victory may not be achieved.[3]
Spark and the others have boarded the ship and are about to embark to Marmo. In Dark Town, Jiba is with Aldonova and summons a female apparition behind him. He tells Aldonova its Jiba's twin sister and he would die for her, just like Aldonova would die for Neese. That's why he let Aldonova live.[4]
Elsewhere in Dark Town, Wagnard tells Neese she'll be sacrificed in five days. Meanwhile, Spark and the others have arrived on Marmo.[5]
