The Golden Lion and the White-headed Eagle is the fourth episode of the Legend of Crystania manga and the fourth episode of the first tankōban in the Legend of Crystania manga series.
Synopsis[]
The dark elf is severely wounded and passes out. Redon, against the advice of his comrades not to get involved with a dark elf, asks Aderishia to heal the dark elf. Aderishia obliges and heals the dark elf, who remains unconscious and needs rest. Boakes and Jenoba suddenly appear and demand the party to hand the dark elf to them.[1] Redon refuses and engages in a duel with Boakes, who appears to be much stronger than him. Despite that, Redon refuses to hand over the dark elf. Boakes manages to sneak up on Redon from behind and headlocks him, while Jenoba soars towards Aderishia and prevents her from casting magic. Boakes and Jenoba introduce themselves as followers of the animal gods Direon and Fortino respectively. Redon manages to break free from Boakes, who then transforms into a lion and the two resume their duel. Much to Boakes surprise, Redon actually manages to land a punch with his bare hand on Boakes' face.[2] At that moment, the dark elf, who Boakes calls "Sheru", wakes up and both parties realise there was a misunderstanding; they were both looking after Sheru.
Elsewhere on Crystania, Rio informs Rome of the Tribe of the Seal, about her encounter with the intruders and that one of them has divine power that should not exist in Crystania. Rome decides to set out and eliminate them.[3]
