Touched by a Merciful Heart is the fourth episode of the second Chronicles of the Heroic Knight manga volume and the ninth episode overall.
Synopsis[]
The dark elf's arrow flies straight towards Spark's head, but is repelled at the last moment by Aldonova's magic, called "magic wall." The dark elf fires another arrow, this time a magic arrow, and Aldonova has more difficulty repelling it. Greevus comments the dark elf's magic should prevail over Aldonova's eventually.[1] Greevus tells Spark to split up and that Spark should go after the archer dark elf, while Greevus goes after the two that disappeared. One of the two actually manages to sneak up on Spark from behind and hold him in a headlock. Another throws daggers at him, which Aldonova repels, again with more difficulty. Little Neese, using her faith in Marfa, helps Aldonova release the shackles of his mind so he can help Spark more fully, and those so by finally repelling the daggers.[2]
