Turn 9: Collapse is the ninth episode of the Sword World SFC Comic: Lacquer-black Curse manga.
Synopsis[]
Carnya returns the orb to Soburan, who now has all three orbs. Hugh is worried about the adventurers, but Carnya says she'll deal with them. At the Temple of Marfa, the High Priestess explains who Mireef is—the god of the dead of the sea who teaches that life is sin. If Mireef is resurrected, many lives will be lost and the god will grow stronger. Later, Bart and his companions enter a pub but the people inside all have dark skin; they've fallen victim to Malice Trigger. Bart deduces it must have something to do with Soburan and the complete set of orbs. The party is worried about the High Priestess' safety and rush back to her temple. They find her lying on the floor. She tells them to stop the resurrection of Mireef and gives them a pendant for protection. When the party goes back into town, which is now ablaze, they find Nighthade, Cains and Mahdi waiting for them. The two parties decide to team up against Soburan.
