Filmer

Mayor Filmer (フィルマー, Firumā) is the mayor of Zaxon, Parn's hometown. His name is given in The Grey Witch and Deedlit's Tale, but not in the 1990 OVA.

In The Grey Witch, he tells Slayn and Ghim that Parn and Etoh went to fight the goblins, asking for their assistance in taking them out. He similarly asks Slayn for advice in the OVA.

In the 1990 OVA, he has a daughter named Liara, whom Parn rescued from the goblins, and killed one of the goblins in the process. The villagers warn Parn that the goblins will now return to avenge their fallen comrade, and Parn insists that he'll go and wipe them out. When the goblins attack the village, Parn rescues Liara again and takes out the leader. Filmer then sends Parn to investigate the growing disorder in Lodoss.

In the Deedlit's Tale novel and manga, Parn, Deedlit, Slayn, and Leylia deal with the threat of Duke Raster's troops attempting to subdue the Alanian villages' independence movement. Filmer helps facilitate the meetings of the Zaxon villagers.
