Jun Suemi (born 1959) is an illustrator from Ōita city in Ōita prefecture, Japan. She is a graduate from the Musashino Art University in Kodaira, Tokyo, where she studied oil painting. She debuted as a professional artist in 1983 with a cover design for Galaxy Crusader (銀河十字軍) by Koji Tanaka. Like many of the people involved with Forcelia, Suemi has a history with (T)RPG's; in 1987 she was the lead monster designer of the Famicom/NES version of Wizardry (which Lodoss creator Ryo Mizuno played.), and later became the main illustrator for nearly all the Japanese renditions of the series.
One of Suemi's most notable works may be her designs for the Guin Saga novel series by Kaoru Kurimoto. She has also provided illustrations for the videogame Front Mission 3 by Squaresoft (now Square Enix), the Wild Card novel series (Japanese releases) by George R.R. Martin and Mamoru Oshii's Patlabor.
In 1988 Suemi received a Seiun Award (星雲賞, Seiunshō).
