The Knights of Darkness (暗黒騎士団, ankoku kishi-dan) is the name of an army of Marmo at the time it was ruled by Emperor Beld and, after his death, the Marmo Council and Ashram. They were first deployed during the War of Heroes and remained active during subsequent wars. When the Marmo fled Lodoss at the conclusion of the War of the Destroyer’s Resurrection, the Knights of Darkness ended up on Crystania, where they became part of the evil animal god Barbas’ army.
