Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring (rejendo obu kurisutania レジェンド・オブ・クリスタニア) is a Japanese anime OVA series. The series ran from November 1996 to April 1997 and consisted of 3 episodes.
The OVA is a loose adaptation of the novel Crystania: Legend of the Gods’ King 2 and the Crystania: Legend of the Sealed novel with some characters and events exclusive to the anime.
Summary[]
Peace returned to Crystania following the events of Legend of Crystania: The Motion Picture, however after some time dark clouds have begun to amass above the Berudia region. The late Gods' King Barbas' followers hurry to Dayton castle and together with Barbas begin to plot his resurrection. To do this they need to sound the Bell of Wakening, but the bell is protected by a spell so that no Crystanian can sound it. To ensure Barbas cannot be defeated again, his follower Garudi sets out to destroy all the Chaos Rings and kill every of its users.
King Ashram, trapped in the World of Chaos, provides a glimmer of hope. Redon and Sheru set out to free him.
