Legend of Crystania: The First Adventurers (レジェンド・オブ・クリスタニア はじまりの冒険者たち, Rejendo obu Kurisutania: Hajimari no Bōkenshatachi) is a manga adaptation of the similarly titled novel and the Legend of the Gods’ King 1 novel.
Ryo Mizuno is credited with writing the story (though the novels were written by Shogo Kawazoe and Hide Shirai). It was illustrated by Akira Himekawa 姫川明 and contains 14 chapters and one bonus story spread over three volumes. It was released in Japan by Dengeki Comics, a division of Kadokawa Corporation, from 1995 to 1996.[1][2] It has never been officially translated into English.
Synopsis[]
When Redon, prince of the kingdom of Da’nan, witnesses his father and mother die during an attack orchestrated by the usurper Malid, he and his friends Kwairde, Nasare and Aderishia, escape and use a crevice in The Gods’ Wall to climb over the once insurmountable barrier into Crystania, the land of the gods. There, Redon hopes to acquire the strength he needs to free Da’nan from Malid, but the crevice in the wall is healed and Redon and the others are forced to stay in Crystania.
The group learns that Crystania is ruled by the animal gods and is inhabited by human tribes, who each follow their own animal god. The land isn't what Redon expected it to be, and he soon finds himself vexed in the lands affairs.

Notes[]
- The manga is, for a part, an adaptation of the novel The First Adventurers: Legend of Crystania, but the title is not exactly the same. In the novel "Legend of Crystania" is the sub-title, and comes after "The First Adventurers". In the manga, "Legend of Crystania" comes before "The First Adventurers".
