He is also briefly mentioned in Deedlit’s Tale novel.

After Redrick has recovered an ancient sword called “Giant Killer,” which he hopes can slay Venon's trump card of this battle: a fire giant, he uses his dragon flute to call for his dragon Whiptail. When the dragon arrives, Jace and her dragon are with him. Jace participates in the battle against Venon and the fire gaint. During the battle, Jace is killed. It is not specified how. Her dragon survives.

By following Carson, Skrang learns that Carson has contact with the Reona, the prince of Kanon who had gone missing many years ago. When Reona learns he is discovered he prepares to attack Lognar and his forces. Randy[]
Randy (ランディー, Randī) was a thief and colleague of Ryna. On the night that the Soul Crystal Ball is stolen from Akroyd's treasury by other thieves, Ryna and Randy are on Blade's outskirts. Randy tells Ryna about the theft, and they deduce the thieves must not be from the Thieves’ Guild, due to Guild Master’s (Fourth) close ties with King Kashue. Not much later, they actually encounter the thieves, though do not notice they're dark elves, and decide to run from them since Randy and Ryna are outnumbered 2 versus 5. Suddenly, Randy falls to the ground and when he looks at his leg he sees tendrils wrapped around them. Unable to get them off, he urges Ryna to run away, get help, and avenge him. When Ryna later returns with Spark and his companions, they find Randy deceased, with a fatal wound in his chest.[7]

Randy also appears in the 1998 TV series and the manga, in which he is Ryna’s lover, something the novel somewhat hinted at but never stated. While traveling in Flaim, they were waylaid by dark elves who emerged from the river, and the dark elves embedded an insidious cursed crystal in Randy’s chest. Ryna was able to take him to a fortress in the desert where she told the soldiers they were mercenaries and explained what happened. Not long afterward, Spark’s party arrived to stay for the night and learned of Randy’s condition. Greevus, the Myrii priest, went to heal Randy, but inadvertently activated the curse, which turned Randy’s body into a hydra.
The soldiers and heroes fought the hydra, but they soon learned that the only way to kill it would be to kill the host. In the anime Spark tried to kill him, but found himself unable to do so. The Marfa priestess Little Neese revealed herself though, and with a powerful purifying spell, she neutralized the curse and gently laid Randy to rest. His death spurred Ryna to join Spark in his quest so that she could get vengeance for his death.
In the manga it was Spark who killed Randy and Little Neese didn't appear until later.
Randy is voiced by Hideo Ishikawa (Japanese) and Oliver Wyman (English).

Berte was born into a family of generals and by the age of 20 she had succeeded that role when she became a general in the army of “Dragon Tail” Russen, helped by the fact that she had no male siblings. She was skilful in commanding troops, but despite her skills she was eventually replaced by a son-in-law of the Duke of Russen. Berte was present at a meeting that was held following Moss' defeat to the demon army at Skard. She reacted sceptical to the suggestion that the crown-wearing human male who was leading the demon army may not be Duke Bruuk of Skard. Berte was married to Harvey.
Harvey Lansen (ハービ・ランセン, Hābi Ransen) is introduced in chapter 4 of Knight of the Sky. When they got married, Harvey took over Berte's position as general. He was proud to follow in Berte's legendary footsteps. When the demon army attacked Russen's royal castle Sun Dome, he helped the royal family escape via a secret passage. To Berte's surprise, he later returned for her. Harvey had learned that Highland had dispatched Dragon Knights to Russen. Though the couple could've tried to escape, they decided to stay behind in Sun Dome and face the demon army. The couple did not survive and Russen fell to the demons.
When Hugo entered Sun Dome when it was still under demon control, he found Berte's body with her internal organs savagely devoured.[8] There is no mention of Harvey's body being found.

It is Dorros who comes to arrest Fahn, but Fahn is given a chance to redeem himself and succesfully returns with the Sacred Weapons. With Fahn having cleared his name and again becoming a strong candidate for the throne, Dorros is looking for ways to improve his reputation and thereby increase his chances to obtain the throne. Afterwards, Lucida travels with Beld and Wort to Raiden, where they meet Flaus' party and defeat a band of demons, and behead a powerful demon general. Unbeknownst to the party, the demon general was protected by a spell that prevented it from being killed by a sword. When the demon army takes control of Skard, the Skardians and their allies flee northwards, to Muskett. Later, some Skardians tried to return to Skard, but Silas retired as captain and went to live in Alania with the countess, who he had been rumoured to be seeing for some time. He said his duties as a knight were over and he would now live the life of a man. The knights who returned to Skard looked down on him because of this.[15]
Tatus[]
Tatus (タトゥス, Tato~usu) was a long-serving court herbalist for the duchy of Skard. His skill with herbs impressed even the sage Wort. Later during the Demon War, Tatus is reunited with Nasher in Highland, Moss.

Aznadeer (アズナディール, Azunadīru) was a sorcerer from the Ancient Kingdom of Kastuul. Aznadeer was the first sorcerer who succesfully summoned a demon to the human world. He and his family of summoner-sorcerers summoned tens of thousands of demons from their demon world, and used them as slaves and mercenaries. Aznadeer is also responsible for sealing the demons and the Demon King in the Deepest Labyrinth.[18][19]
Azzard[]
Azzard (アザート, Azāto) was a summoner from Flaim and member of the Fire tribe. During the Kastuul era the people of Flaim's two tribes, Fire and Wind, fought side-by-side and sought to protect themselves against the Kastuulians. Azzard released the two king spirits Jinn and Ifrit and both became guardian deities of each tribe. Azzard formed a covenant with the king spirits in exchange for Flaim's earth's fertility, making it a desert land, and Azzard's own life.[20] The covenant remained after Azzard's death and was inherited by his descendants, often unbeknownst to them.
Larcus[]
Larcus (ラルカス, Rarukasu) is the headmaster of the Academy of Sages and Wagnard's former mentor. Larcus banished Wagnard from the Academy, after discovering Wagnard practiced forbidden magic. He also cursed Wagnard with the "geas" spell, which causes Wagnard to feel intense pain whenever he casts magic.
Naneel[]
Naneel (ナニール, Nanīru) was a priestess of Kardis, the goddess of destruction. After the fall of Kastuul, she tried to build a new kingdom. Because of Karla, Naneel got embroiled in a 50-year war with Kadomos I, the founder of Alania, and eventually was sealed away. Her followers were hunted and fled to the Forest of Darkness on Marmo. Ever since, they are called barbarians. Hundreds of years later, the seal was broken. Naneel's soul had slept within Leylia, and was passed on to her daughter Little Neese.
Owen[]
Owen (オーエン, Ōen) was a thief who befriended Ashram. Owen was a follower of Beld long before Beld united Marmo. He later betrayed Ashram.
Saluvan[]

Saluvan (サルバーン, Sarubān) was the last governor of the ancient kingdom of Kastuul. Before the destruction of his kingdom, Saluvan cast a spell on five dragons to guard his most powerful treasures, the Scepter of Domination, the Staff of Life, the Soul Crystal Ball, the Mirror of Truth and the Ferronnière of Knowledge, hoping they could one day restore his kingdom.
Saluvan appears in “Fog of Revenge,” a short story from the Deedlit’s Tale novel, where he grants Strall, a noble of Kastuul and recent escapee of the Forest of No Return, with magic to exact revenge on the high elves in the forest. At this point, Saluvan is no longer alive, but still lingers in existence by fusing his memory and will to the Ferronière of Knowledge.
