Record of Lodoss War: The Fire Demon is a manga adaptation of the novel of the same name. It was written by Ryo Mizuno and drawn by Ayumi Saito. The series was originally released in Japan by Comp Comics. It has never been officially translated into English or other western languages. However, this wiki has a fan-translation available on the main page.

The Fire Demon is two volumes long. It covers the Flaim civil war and release of the king spirits Jinn and Ifrit. Parn is also involved as he heard rumours of a sorcerer playing a pivotal role in the civil war, who Parn suspects may be Karla in Woodchuck's body. Chronologically this story takes place after the Grey Witch episodes. The series was published in February 1994^[1] and reissued in April 1998^[2] to coincide with the release of the Chronicles of the Heroic Knight anime.

Synopsis[]

Two years after the War of Heroes, Parn is led to Flaim by rumours of a dark-haired magic user stirring up war. Believing the magic user may be Karla, he decides to investigate the rumours, but gets involved in the war between the Fire tribe, led by Nardia, and the Wind tribe, led by King Kashue.
