Retsu Tateo (館尾冽, Tateo Retsu) is a female Japanese freelance manga artist and illustrator, best known for illustrating the Full Metal Panic! manga, by Shoji Gatoh. Tateo provided illustrations for the three Legend of Lodoss RPG Replays in the mid 90's. In 2020, roughly twenty-five years later, she provided the illustrations for the fifth Record of Lodoss War RPG Replay, The Wandering Nobleman’s Endless Journey Home.
Tateo is also the mangaka of the series Endless Eden serialized in Comic Valkyrie. Tateo is married to someone who worked on the Full Metal Panic! anime. She also creates adult manga under the pen name Sengoku Murasaki 千石紫.
