Sword World SFC (ソード・ワールドＳＦＣ, sōdo wārudo SFC) is a role-playing videogame developed by T&E SOFT and released in August 1993 for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo). It had a sequel in 1994, called Sword World SFC2: Legend of the Ancient Giants.
Keiko Shimomura is credited with writing the scenario, as the game is based on his two-volume light novel Sword World: The Island of the Dead God.
The game was released along with a "mediamix" of Sword World SFC products, including the soundtrack for the game, a manga and a CD single by Japanese idol duo Wink, called "The Phantom is Screaming".
Synopsis[]
The story of Sword World SFC is similar to that of the two Island of the Dead God novels, concentrating on the dark priest Mazerl Soburan and the evil god Mireef.

The soundtrack was composed by Yumi Kinoshita, Yuzaburo Shimojo, Moichi Kamaki, Yoshiya Takayama and Daisuke Enomura and released on 25 August 1993 by DATA MUSIC. The soundtrack consists of 61 tracks, 45 from the Super Famicom version of the game and 16 from the PC version. The soundtrack was released under the title All Sounds of SWORD WORLD (sōdo wārudo zenkyoku-shū, ソード・ワールド全曲集).
